About us

The beginning

The company DIGADES was founded in 1991. Among them: Lutz Berger, engineer for communications engineering and passionate motorcyclist.

DIGADES started as an engineering office and expanded its competencies in electronics development and manufacturing over the next few years.

New alignment

20 years after the company was founded, digades has already made a name for itself in the industry. Companies such as Audi, BMW or Volkswagen were now part of the customer portfolio.

Lutz Berger took over the company as managing partner at this time.

First own products

DGUARD came onto the market in 2016. The intelligent emergency call system for motorcycles saves lives if the worst comes to the worst by independently calling for help immediately after an accident. Lutz Berger came up with the idea when his son Tim started riding a motorcycle.

A new generation

In 2018, the takeover of the management of the company begins, initially with Sascha as an equal managing director. Shortly thereafter, Tim also becomes Managing Director of the company. Since 2021, the brothers have managed DIGADES together in the second Berger Generation.

The birth of TILSBERK

The two managing directors Tim and Sascha decide to focus digades more on the motorcycle market and found the brand TILSBERK. It stands for clever motorcycle accessories for motorcyclists, developed and produced by digades.
