Step 3: Mounting surface
Simple or complex?
Check if your helmet has a straight or complex mounting surface. Complex helmet geometries are characterized by one or more of the following features:
Does your helmet...
- Air vents,
- a curved mounting surface,
- a step between the fabric of the upholstery and the plastic frame or
- Fabric with stitching seams, which makes the mounting surface uneven
Straight, flat mounting surface:
If the mounting surface in your helmet is straight and has no uneven spots, then you can proceed with installation variant C.
Complex / Uneven mounting surface:
Continue with installation option D if your helmet has a complex mounting surface.
