Step 2: Check the type of material of the helmet

Is the fabric stretchable?

If the helmet padding material extends to the mounting surface, check the type and flexibility of the material. Try to lightly grip and stretch the fabric with two fingers.

If the fabric is flat and has little or no grip and stretch, the mounting surface of your helmet is solid.
